Context: though Mediterranean biodiversity is amongst the best known in the world, there still remain gaps in the knowledge of the rocky seabed in the twilight zone between 80 and 150m.

Funding: L'OEil d'Andromede, Nice Council, Agence de l'Eau

Scope: bibliographical research on the flora and fauna of the Mediterranean twilight zone. Deep-dive survey (70 dives below 100m).

Results: New species discovered for France (e.g. Scorpaenoides arenai), new sighting of a species previously known only from a specimen caught in 1853 (Euchirograpsus liguricus), numerous photographs and sightings of rare species (e.g. Regalecus glesne).

1 26-min film, 1 exhibition on the Promenade des Anglais for 3 months (extended), conferences.
